We have now been given the green light to open our clinic to provide essential hearing services to our clients. The health and safety of our staff and clients is our top priority, that's why we've made a few changes to our appointments which will enable us to keep you safe when you are in the clinic.
To do this we have put the following measures in place:
Clients will only be seen by appointments, this will enable us to maintain social distancing requirements within the clinic and provide us the time in between to ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and equipment has been replaced.
We are limiting all appointments to just one on ones, unless support is essential.
Before attending we will ask you to complete a risk assessment and medical history over the phone.
Please travel alone where possible and endeavour to arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you are travelling by car we would be grateful if you could wait in your car and call the clinic on 0161 637 1171 to confirm your arrival.
We advise you to wear a face mask if you have one available, but we may also provide you with a mask and gloves when you visit.
On arrival, we may take your temperature with a no-touch thermometer. If your temperature is above 37.8°C, you will be unable to enter the clinic and will be asked to return home and self-isolate as per current government guidelines.
All staff will be equipped with the correct essential PPE to protect themselves and our clients.
We are closely monitoring our own health and if any of our staff develop symptoms of Coronavirus they will self isolate as per government guidelines. We will contact you if this affects your appointment.
Likewise, we respectfully ask that if you develop symptoms or are generally unwell please contact us to rearrange your appointment for a future date. You will be asked if you have any symptoms or had had any symptoms in the past few days.
Due to increased cost of personal protective equipment and clean down protocols, prices for our services may be slightly increased until further notice.
For existing clients, we will be offering to follow up appointments by telephone or by remote care. If all is well with your hearing devices and you do not wish to come into the clinic we can keep in touch over the phone if you prefer.
If your hearing devices are sent for repair, we can ask the manufacturer to send them back to you directly, if you would prefer not to collect them from the clinic.
We will not be accepting any walk-ins – please contact us to book an appointment.
This is a very challenging time for all of us and we appreciate your co-operation and understanding.
We’re always at the end of the phone if you have any problems or queries.
Best Wishes,
Harsha Devaraju.
Had a problem with wax in both ears. Tried to get an appointment where I had been before but the wait was to long. Found this clinic on google and got an appointment for three days later. I have been today. The consultation was very professional and friendly. The wax was removed using suction and then water. Came away feeling like a new man. Would recommend to anyone.

Have had a problem with wax in one ear for days and been using drops from the chemist which haven't helped. Tried my GP practice to see if they could help but ear wax removal is something they don't do. This morning I rang Bury Hearing Centre to see if they could help. Got an appointment within two hours and I am delighted with the result! I can now hear again. Removal of wax was painless and the whole approach and process very professional. PPE used and temperature taken. Would definitely recommend
